5 detectives enter a mansion to investigate the dead body of a scientist. They were also informed that the daughter of the household Hori is missing. Talk to suspects, point out lies, contradictions. Create and debunk arguments to proceed through the game and find out the truth behind the killing and the missing girl as well as bond with dozens of interesting fun detectives and witnesses. 

The game features profanity, descriptions of gore and discussions of various themes and topics regarding sex and variety of crimes.

I am giving you guys version 1.3 of Lust for Truth. This version includes new images and animations to make certain scenes more lively and expressive. The animations and map coordination that are shown during the alibi taking section aim to lessen the confusion and ease the players in remembering certain details about positioning of the characters and events in general. The difficulty during lie point out sections have also been decreased and type of statement you are refuting has become clearer.

The webnovel version might have more content in the future compared to the Visual Novel. I am planning to write the second volume of this story in webnovel version and adapt it to a visual novel.        

January 11th 2023. 
I finally am giving you guys version 1.2 of Lust for Truth. This version had a huge update of adding sprites to the game. Previously the game used waifulab anime character pictures as placeholders but this time I personally made the character models inside Vroid. I took screenshots after posing the characters and and edited them on gimp. 

This isn't the best way to go about it. Honestly, I am thinking of learning unity and blender in the future. So you can expect more detailed and inventive visuals from my future creations. Perhaps with more animation and less moving images. 

Still, for a one man project, I think this was a success in my book. 
If I wanted to improve this game I could add voice acting and actual animations into the game. But I also am thinking about switching to unreal or unity so this renpy game would have to be left behind then.

But who knows, maybe I'll make a sequel that is way more high quality than this.
